Applying for September 2026 Admission
If you would like to apply for a space at Four Oaks Primary School for September 2026, there are three straightforward ways to do so:
- Apply Online: Submit your application directly via the Liverpool City Council website.
- Request a Paper Form: Contact Liverpool City Council school admissions here to request a paper application form, which should then be returned directly to Liverpool City Council.
- School Office Support: Our school office team is always happy to guide you through the application process – simply get in touch.
Please Note: You are welcome to apply for Four Oaks Primary School even if you do not reside within Liverpool City Council District. Indeed, each year, we warmly welcome many children from other boroughs, those who have recently moved to the city or from abroad, enriching our diverse school community.
If your child is due to start Reception in September 2026, you can apply online from 1st September 2025 for a Reception place the following September.
The closing date for Reception applications is usually in January. Please check for updates on the Local Authority Admissions website for the exact date at:

Please note, even if your child has had a place in our school Nursery, you still need to apply for a place in our Reception classes. Places are allocated by Liverpool City Council, not Four Oaks Primary School.
