Four Oaks Primary School

Our library is a fantastic place to read, study, and relax. We offer a diverse collection of books, comics, newspapers, and audio stories, including bilingual resources to support our Modern Foreign Language lessons. Students can unwind on comfy chairs or step into the immersive 4D Pod, where dynamic lighting, images, and sound bring stories to life! A captivating History timeline spans the entire library wall, showcasing fascinating facts and pictures from the Stone Age right up to the building of Four Oaks (now Thomas Gray Primary).

When designing our school, our vision was to create classrooms that are bright, fun, and exciting places to learn. For our outdoor areas, we commissioned a Landscape Architect to design a beautiful, landscaped park suitable for all ages. Visitors consistently commend our wonderfully calm environment, the rich array of resources available for children, and our stunning grounds complete with engaging play equipment and a charming summer house filled with books.

Our technology is truly awesome, making learning dynamic and fun! We offer everything from computerised Lego to iPads that use augmented reality to transform 2D pictures into moving 4D models. All children have access to Smart Boards, laptops, iPads, and cameras to make learning powerful and engaging. We even have programmable robots! Our computer suite features hidden PCs that pop out of study desks at the push of a button, making computer programming easy and exciting. Our incredible 4D room can transport us anywhere – from outer space to underwater, or from the Egyptian pyramids to enchanted forests. We also boast inflatable 4D pods that can hold an entire class, creating truly immersive learning spaces.
